Nexplanon : 2 days later!

Today I could take my bandage off, and oh how glad I am to be rid of it! My arm was feeling rather itchy and it was starting to slip and just generally be annoying... so yeah!

I've had no problems with it at all. Occasionally the insertion site itches like fury but it passes quickly. You do have to be careful not to sleep on your arm the first few nights though. I tend to sleep on my left-hand side so Wednesday morning was a sore one!

Here's the funny bit:

Thursday, just now!

I would show you the inside of the bandage but it's bit bloody and I don't want to push anyone over their limit, but it is worth mentioning so you know it's coming. It's not like it bled a lot, but probably a little bit more than 'usual'. I have the same problem when I get piercings. Stupid dramatic body.

Funny bruising though, right?! ;)

Last time I had this implant, the bruising surrounded the implant but not over it, so I had a little patch of skin that was normal looking inside this horrible bruise! Haha! I kinda hope it happens again!!

I'm going to use some arnica cream to help the bruising along and try to use the muscle a bit more now. It was too sore to really do anything yesterday!

That's about all I've got to say for this far along. I'm going to have a nice long bath soon, but I won't immerse the steri-strip. I might wrap it in clingfilm actually... There's a tip for you! I think the steri will be off by the end of the weekend.

If you have any questions, please drop me an email or leave a comment! I'm an open book and here to help :)
